Located strategically near Warsaw, IN, Barger provides turnkey medical device packaging services from concept to finished products in our 48K sq. ft. facility housing multiple ISO 9001 and 13485 certified Class 8 clean rooms. Placon, Barger’s parent company, houses class 100,000 clean rooms in addition to a robust 24×7 CNC machining department, world-class inline and rollfed thin-gauge thermoformers, extruders and state of the art robotics across its 343K sq. ft. facility.

Clean room packaging

Barger oversees four combined ISO certified Class 8 clean room environments in Madison, WI and Elkhart, IN where all prototyping, extrusion, thermoforming, in line flexo printing, die cutting and packing is performed for sterile and non-sterile packaging applications.

High standards of quality

As part of our rigorous quality assurance and control processes, we utilize first article inspection and SPC data to produce the highest quality parts and packaging systems, supporting global medical device quality standards and practices including ISO 9001, ISO 13485 and 21 CFR 820 and ISO 11607.

Sustainable Medical Packaging

Located on Placon’s Madison campus is our 70K sq. ft. EcoStar reclamation, recycling and extrusion facility.  EcoStar reclaims and recycles over 1 billion curbside collected PET bottles and thermoforms each year, extruding them into FDA approved, recycled rollstock for thermoforming non-sterile rigid  trays, plastic clamshells and blisters for medical packaging applications.
